The William
Brearley Home
Newly renovated
| McIver Williamson
of Darlington, SC built the home in 1912, and named it for his boyhood
pastor, the Reverend William Brearley. Originally a guest lodge for
ministers attending conferences, now groups of all ages, families and
individuals enjoy the peaceful mountain setting and warm hospitality. |

The William Brearley
Home has 16 guestrooms and 8 (private use) hall
bathrooms on the three floors of the home. The first floor also has a
spacious lobby with a gas log fireplace and a meeting room where reading,
table games, spiritual studies, worship, and end of the day conversations
take place. It also has a front porch overlooking the valley that
provides opportunities for enjoying the view, reading and developing
friendships. The ground floor houses the guest kitchen and the breakfast
dining room.
Attached to the second floor is Suite Carolina. It
features a king size bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and private bath.
